The ASD02 auto-dialer is connected to the alarm control panel and connected to a standard telephone line, which does not effect the normal operation of your existing phone(s). The unit requires no batteries as it is powered by your control panel. The auto-dialer has a built in microphone and speaker so that phrases can be recorded and replayed directly from the unit, therefore you can record a different message for alarm, fire or panic situations. On receiving the call from the auto-dialer the person acknowledges it by pressing a one digit security code on their telephone and the unit can be programmed to stop dialing other numbers after the call has been acknowledged.
