How to remove a product from an ERA account

If you want to return, sell, reinstall or dispose your ERA product you will need to remove the product from your account and hard reset it. The instructions for properly removing and resetting your ERA product from your account and factory resetting it respectively are detailed below:

ERA Protect Indoor Camera:

To decommission a device:

  1. Go into your app:
  2. Click on Settings
  3. Choose your Camera under Camera Settings
    1. If Camera Offline, Click on Dustbin next to your Camera name
    2. If Camera Online, Click on Camera name to get in the Camera Settings, at the bottom, Click on Delete Camera, and follow instructions. 
  4. Please “HARD RESET” your Camera to restore the Camera to the Factory Settings.

ERA Protect Outdoor Camera:

To decommission a device:

  1. Go into your app:
  2. Click on Settings
  3. Choose your Camera under Camera Settings
    1. If Camera Offline, Click on Dustbin next to your Camera name
    2. If Camera Online, Click on Camera name to get in the Camera Settings, at the bottom, Click on Delete Camera, and follow instructions. 
  4. Please “HARD RESET” your Camera to restore the Camera to the Factory Settings.

ERA Protect FloodCam Camera:

To decommission a device:

  1. Go into your app:
  2. Click on Settings
  3. Choose your Camera under Camera Settings
    1. If Camera is Offline, Click on Dustbin next to your Camera name
    2. If Camera is Online, Click on Camera name to get in the Camera Settings, at the bottom, Click on Delete Camera, and follow instructions. 
  4. Please “HARD RESET” your camera to restore the camera to the Factory Settings.

ERA Protect Alarm System:

To decommission a device:

  1. Go into your app:
  2. Click on Settings
  3. Choose your Alarm under Alarm Settings
    1. If Alarm is Offline, Click on Dustbin next to your Alarm name
    2. If Alarm is Online, Click on Alarm name to get in the Alarm Settings, at the bottom, Click on Delete Hub , and follow instructions. 
  4. Please “HARD RESET” your Hub to restore the Hub to the Factory Settings.

ERA TouchKey Nightlatch:

To decommission a device:

  1. Go into your app:
  2. You will automatically load the ‘My Locks & Ekeys’ page
  3. Choose the TouchKey you would like to delete
    1. Once you are on the selected TouchKey page, please click the bottom right hand icon (three blue circles) to open the options page.
    2. Now click 'Delete Lock'. 
  4. This has now deleted the selected TouchKey lock. 
  5. Please 'HARD RESET' your TouchKey lock to restore the Lock to the factory settings.
